After graduating in electronics, my early career provided me with a comprehensive, end-to-end understanding of electronic product development, encompassing PCB design, establishing a full in-house production line, firmware development, and creating production testers. This gave me a solid understanding of end-to-end electronic product development. I later transitioned fully into firmware and embedded software, programming STM32, ESP, AVR, and PIC microcontrollers in C, primarily using bare-metal programming, and have been working in an RTOS environment for the last few years. Collaborating with colleagues from a software engineering background helped me develop skills in design patterns, abstractions, and structured software practices. After parting ways with IPEE, I invested time in self-study of C++ and Zephyr, which I am now applying in a hobby project (Plant Scale). I am seeking a role where I can further develop these skills, tackle challenging problems, and contribute to a shared and clear vision

Refactored communication protocols between products to improve stability and reliability. Implemented GUI design updates. Integrated console/logging features to enhance development and diagnostics. Defined a strategic roadmap for future products and designed a global, reusable software architecture to streamline development across multiple product lines. Developed test tools to improve product validation, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.

R&D Engineer @ Duratrech - private swimming pool automation

Developed automated testing systems for LED lights to be used during manufacturing. Wrote bootloaders for all embedded devices in the product range. Designed and implemented gateway software (embedded Linux via Buildroot) to update devices over CAN, LoRa, Powerline, and RS-485. Added features to the main pool controller.

R&D and support engineer @ newson - laser deflection systems

01 May 2017 - 31 July 2019

Developed small XY motor system from scratch for demonstration purposes. Designed a hand-held force measurement device to assist in mirror installation on motors. Created a production tester for the company’s main laser controller unit. Initiated and led in-house production startup, setting up and operating the pick-and-place assembly line.
